A great video on Ted talk last weekend.
Awesome, I will share this with my judo students. We are preparing for a judo tournament.
WOW WOW WOW
Thank you so much Matt D’Aquino for sharing with us those tremendous moments about Ori Sasson. It shows us that jodo is not just :”a gentle way to fight” but also all the big ones have human feelings and its not to be ashamed to show them.
Great Inspiration for new judokas. I’m 31 yr old and I started practicing Judo in about 8 months. I have never done this before, even as a child. So, every day of training when I get into my car to drive to the Dojo, I feel anxious. Even though is just training (not worth of a medal), I always feel like driving back home because I think “this is not for me”, “I don’t wanna do randori with that guy because he will through around or because he is stronger than me”. When that feeling strikes me, I try to calm down and just do my best, as Ori said.
Thanks for sharing.
ops, sorry for my broken english, I meant: “I don’t wanna do randori with that guy because he will THROW ME around or because he is stronger than me”.
