I have been doing a stack of training at home and I really wanted to start doing some TRX band exercises that I saw on the Suspension Revolution page so rather than paying upwards of $200 for TRX bands I decided to make my own.
Here is all you need:
Rope ($4-5)
20 cms of PVC piping ($2)
Cables ($13)
Now just follow along to my video below to make your own TRX bands.
Benefits to training with TRX bands include:
- your cardio will improve dramatically
- upper body and shoulder stability will increase
- burn a stack of calories
- your abs will become concrete
- great way to develop lower body stability
The best thing about TRX bands is the amount of core strength and stability to perform all of the movements. My abs have been screaming when doing some of the pushup style planks etc
Plus they are good fun.
